Meet Henry Floyd, Jr., Esq.
Maryland injury lawyer Henry Floyd, Jr. is an Associate Attorney at the firm. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Floyd was the Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Lawrence V. Hill, Jr. in the Circuit Court for Prince George’s County, Maryland, handling a wide range of complex legal issues, including workers’ compensation appeals and personal injury and medical malpractice lawsuits. While attending law school and immediately after graduation, Mr. Floyd served as a law clerk with The Cochran Firm DC, assisting with several high-profile civil lawsuits.
Mr. Floyd received his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. He is a graduate of Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School. While in law school, Mr. Floyd served as Chair for the Mock Trial Executive Board and served on the Moot Court Executive Board. He also taught trial skills to second and third year law students at his law school. Mr. Floyd served as the Legislative Intern for the Michigan House of Representatives, where he handled various issues for the residents of Michigan, and drafted legislation related to anti-bullying and human trafficking.
Mr. Floyd is admitted to the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. He is currently a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Prince George’s County Bar Association, the DC Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice, the Washington Bar Association, and the J. Franklyn Bourne Bar Association. Mr. Floyd represents clients in workers’ compensation claims in Maryland and Washington, D.C. and a wide range of personal injury areas, including car accidents and premises liability. Mr. Floyd is a resident of Prince George’s County, Maryland.
